A New-York.
Here are some models of Chrissie Morris's collection, a young British designer based in Milan I discovered in a JC Report's article. A former student in knitwear at the Liverpool John Moores University, she went to Milan for post graduated studies and fall in love with the city's famed leather including the fabric in her master's thesis collection. And then, she decided to move into shoes, first working as a footwear designer for Sinela Gallery, a Spanish brand, until she launched her own label in 2007. Inspired by the art-deco design, she took a special attention to the details of lines and curves using unusual materials as python or stingray skins embedded with semiprecious stones and crystals. As I'm a great admirer of the twenties I couldn't resist to her style and creations. Her website is under construction so I can't tell you where you can find those "little jewels" as she called them but I try know.It seems that "Jazz A ge" is in the air for some designers. That's why I decided to show you this dress by Lovenia because I find that it could perfectly fit with Chrissie Morris's models. "It's the Jazz Age re-imagined" says Heidi Handler, "Jean Harlow and Eddie Sedgwick are having tea at Tamara de Lempicka's before catching a Josephine Baker show in Paris." And I know what she means. Where can you find this gorgeous dresses? In New York city.
