When I heard that the Croc's brand had opened it's first shop in Paris I was just like "spare me!". And now I read that the brand has designed furred boots for the next Winter, some kind of pharmaceutical models and clothes. The Croc's result last year was 847 millions ($ I guess) and this year they are expecting one milliard and I'm just wondering in what world do we live. I've already said what I thought about those ugly plastic things so I won't do it again. So to dismiss the scary vision of a world in Croc I give you this picture of a sandal designed by Roger Vivier for the French brand Myrys. It's one of his last creations and he named it "The Wave". I learnt that at the end of his life he was thinking of a collection of plain but refined models, designed for the women's hard-working life, and far away of his well-known precious and ornated creations that we can find in the Parisian boutique runs by Bruno Frisoni / Inès de la Fressange. But he didn't have time for that, and I must admit that I envy the lucky owner of this Wave.

OUI !!! . .
Pffffff . . .
Yes, I envy also envy them...the Vivier name needs some new love.
